patterns
MIC occurs throughout the printed document in repeating sequences. It consists of a two-dimensional matrix in which a
dot represents a truth value.
The pattern determines the method and rules of sequential MIC writing. It is quite common for multiple manufacturers
to use the same pattern type, or for one manufacturer to use multiple patterns on different printer models.
One printer can only use one type of pattern.
